Vera Hebel joined the Professorship of Work and Organizational Psychology in July 2021 as a research associate, working in the PsyGesA project (Psychische Gesundheit im Arbeitskontext; Engl: psychological well-being in the work context). During the project, she worked on developing a scale to identify job demands and resources economically and provide individuals with a comprehensive tool to improve their psychological health. Furthermore, she regularly held workshops on mental health in the workplace. As of October 2022, she took on a new role, teaching seminars about various topics in the field of Work and Organizational Psychology.

Her focus lies on leader and employee well-being. Therefore, she studies job demands and job resources. Additionally, she is interested in how working in a digital world, relying on information- and communication technology (ICT), influences people’s well-being.

Vera Hebel studied Psychology (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) at the University of Bamberg, specializing in personnel selection and development. She also holds a Business Administration degree and Economics (B.Sc.) from the University of Passau.
