Interview: Fabian Beck introduces the new research group

Prof. Dr. Fabian Beck joined the University of Bamberg in October 2021 and holds the newly established Chair of Information Visualization. This is the first position from the Hightech Agenda Bavaria to be filled at the Faculty of Information Systems and Applied Computer Sciences (WIAI). With his research, Fabian Beck integrates very well into the faculty, which will grow by numerous additional chairs and professorships in the coming years thanks to the Hightech Agenda of the State of Bavaria. In his work, Fabian Beck is primarily concerned with the representation of data.
