• studies in the field of students' conceptions - e.g. about plant nutrition and photosynthesis ("Where does the wood come from?")
• Development, analyisis and evaluation of digital learning environments to identify, analyse and reconstruct learning pathways 
• AI-based learning environments 
• fostering ESD competences via digital learning tools (muxbooks, VR)
