M.Sc. Information Systems

Programme Abstract

The objective of the degree programme is critically to evaluate scientific methods and their relevance to problem solving, to advance these respective methods, and to make a contribution to problem solving at an interdisciplinary level. The curriculum is focused on providing students with skills pertaining to managerial and corporate information systems in the realms of economics and administration, and also on conveying knowledge of information systems for the private sector. It is also possible to individualize studies by choosing a specific core area of focus. In addition to developing competence in the fields of Information Systems, Economics and Computer Science, the programme fosters skills in relevant neighbouring and auxiliary disciplines.
