The Archaeological Prospection (ArchPro) research group is the successor to two previous research groups: the Junior Professorship in Information Processing in Geoarchaeology (IVGA, 2010–2022) and the Professorship in Geophysical Prospection and Documentation in Archaeology and Building Research (GeoPro, 2022–2023). It integrates the research scope of both groups by combining geophysical prospecting with methods and approaches from landscape and geoarchaeology.
