SCRL represented with a contribution at the IEEE PerCom
This year, the 21st edition of the International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Communications (PerCom) will take place from March 13th to 17th in Atlanta, and the Smart City Research Lab (SCRL) will also be represented there. PerCom is an annual scientific event for ubiquitous computing and communication and is considered one of the most important conferences in its field.
Prof. Dr. Daniela Nicklas will deliver the keynote at the IEEE PerAwareCity 2023 workshop on the topic "Research and the City: An Experience Report on Launching the Smart City Research Lab Bamberg."
This keynote reports practical experiences and future challenges from several years of smart city related research and the process of creating an interdisciplinary research network within the University of Bamberg, the Smart City Research Lab. The goal is to support the City of Bamberg on its journey and to provide an environment to validate research ideas in real-world installations and with users who are not just our own students.
