Brief Biography

Sven Schnellbacher studied Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. He completed his master studies in European Economic Studies at the University of Bamberg in 2017. During his master studies he spent a semester abroad at Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland. He wrote his master thesis on the topic “The Monetary Policy Transmission Mechanism and the Role of Macroprudential Policies”. Sven Schnellbacher is a PhD student at the Professorship for Economics, esp. Macroeconomics and International Finance since April 2019. He works as a research assistant at the Faculty of Management Science and Engineering at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences since January 2019.
