IoT Kits

Thanks to a very generous donation from Prof. Dr. em. Guido Wirtz, we were able to purchase a ‘class set’ of IoT materials (Arduino Uno, Raspberry Pi 5, ESP32, various sensors, etc.) in 2025. We are planning to use these materials for IoT workshops for our students. However, it will also be possible to borrow the materials – whether for a project, an assignment, a thesis or an event for young talent. The following list provides an overview of the available materials:
 

  • 30 × ELEGOO UNO R3 Starter Kit
  • 30 × Raspberry Pi 5 Model B (8 GB RAM) incl. SD cards (SanDisk Extreme Pro, 64 GB), case and power supply
  • 30 × accessory kits (mouse, keyboard, HDMI cable)
  • 30 × NodeMCU ESP32 WiFi and Bluetooth module
  • 30 × MQ-135 sensor for air quality, benzene, alcohol, smoke
  • 3 × 40 jumper cables (m2m, f2m, f2f)
  • 2 × access points (Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC-PRO)
  • 2 × PoE injectors (Ubiquiti U-PoE++)

We would be delighted if the materials were used frequently. We would like to encourage this. We welcome requests from both lecturers and students by email.
