Maurice Kalweit studied teacher education for lower secondary schools with the subjects Geography, Biology, Mathematics and Physical Education at Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg and Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nuremberg. Since 2023, he has worked as a student assistant at the Department of Science Education. From 2023 to 2025, he was involved in the subproject “Digital Identification of Wild Bees in Nesting Aids” within the third-party-funded project “DiKuLe – Digitale Kulturen der Lehre entwickeln”, funded by Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre. In addition, he is involved in the third-party-funded projects “City4Future” and “MINTmobil”.
