Maximilian Blank

M.Sc. Information Systems

Maximilian Blank is pursuing an external doctorate at the Chair of Business Informatics, specializing in Health and Society in the Digital Age.

After training as a banker, he completed his bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Informatics at Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg. He completed his part-time master's degree in 2025 with a thesis on “Cyber Resilience: A Qualitative Study Revealing Influencing Antecedents.”

Maximilian works as head of process management and digitalization at STWB Stadtwerke Bamberg GmbH, where he is also responsible for managing the application and DevOps team. In this role, he shapes the strategic development of the company's digitalization initiative, manages cross-departmental IT and transformation projects, and supports organizational change processes in the context of digital transformation.
