Bio

Maha Alwahibi is a PhD student and research associate at the University of Bamberg. Her research focuses on  accelerating Database Management Systems with modern hardware and query processing in heterogenous systems. She completed her bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Al-Imam Muhammad ibn Saud University from Saudi Arabia and her master’s degree in International Software Systems Science from University of Bamberg. Prior to her research position, she gained experience in full-stack web development, backend software engineering, and users/system administrating from 2017 to 2025.
