Rachel Shinnar, PhD | Department of Management

Academic Career

Rachel S. Shinnar completed her M.S. and Ph.D. in Hospitality Administration at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She has been with Appalachian State University in Boone, NC since 2004 and was appointed full professor in 2015. Her research interests include: Entrepreneurial Intentions, Minority & Female entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship Education, Careers and upward mobility for Hispanic immigrants in North America.
