Dr. Stefan Hee joined the Chair of Public Policy Analysis as a postdoctoral researcher in October 2025. After studying in Würzburg, Paris, and Munich, he earned his doctorate in political science from the University of Salzburg. His dissertation on “The Distributional Effects of Trade” was supervised by Prof. Andreas Dür and Prof. Robert Huber and was defended successfully with distinction in 2025.
His research focuses on the political effects of globalization, in particular its impact on voting behavior and political attitudes. In addition, he conducts research on national and international policy responses to globalization and inequality.
