AGIT 2026 Salzburg, 8-9th July 2026

As part of a multi-day excursion led by geographer Bernd Grubert students took part in AGIT 2026. AGIT 2026 took place on 8 and 9 July 2026 at the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences at the University of Salzburg and brought together around 500 experts from all over the world. Under the theme ‘Shaping Geospatial Futures’, the focus was on GeoAI, geoinformatics, Earth observation and digital twins. The students attended academic presentations, workshops and the Ice Breaker Event.
