Wanted: Student Assistants for the “DevOps for AI Systems” Course (Winter Semester 2026/27)

We are looking for 2 student assistants (m/f/d), starting immediately, for the course “DevOps for AI Systems” in the winter semester 2026/27. Applications as soon as possible to David Fuenmayor (david.fuenmayor(at)uni-bamberg.de)

We are looking for 2 student assistants (m/f/d), starting immediately, for the course “DevOps for AI Systems” in the winter semester 2026/27.

Tasks:
- Contributing to tutorials on AI workflows & fine-tuning
- Contributing to tutorials on Git, CI/CD, and containers/Kubernetes
- Supervising exercise sessions

Profile:
- Experience with ML models (use/evaluation) and fine-tuning (e.g. LoRA/PEFT)
- Linux basics and shell programming
- Git basics; Docker/containers an advantage
- Experience with HPC an advantage

Conditions:
- Start: September–October 2026
- End: February–March 2027 (depending on start date)
- Scope: 6 months, 33 hours per month
- Pay at the university rate (approx. €15–16 per hour, depending on degree)
