By definition, the M.Sc. Strategy & Sustainability is an international program. However, studying abroad offers the opportunity to make your SAS experience even more international – an option we strongly encourage. To pursue a stay abroad, you have two main pathways:

What partner universities are available to SAS students?

Currently, SAS students have access to 141 partner universities in 47 countries. To give you an overview of these extensive opportunities, we have compiled two lists of institutions and programmes available to SAS students:

All of these universities offer courses at the Master’s level, enabling students to arrange Learning Agreements and have credits earned abroad recognised towards their studies in Bamberg.

Financing and scholarships

The International Office coordinates and administers Erasmus+ scholarships and PROMOS scholarships. Erasmus+ scholarships are available to all students applying to a European partner university within an exchange programme (self-organized studies abroad are excluded). When you submit your application, the International Office will automatically check your eligibility for an Erasmus+ scholarship.

In addition, interested students are encouraged to independently explore the following further funding opportunities:

Learning agreements

A Learning Agreement provides additional certainty that courses taken abroad will be recognized as part of your SAS degree in Bamberg. We strongly recommend arranging your Learning Agreement prior to your stay abroad. We have created a dedicated webpage with detailed information on Learning Agreements for SAS students.
