Curriculum Vitae
Omer Fetai studied physics at the University of Duisburg-Essen, completing both his bachelor's and master's degrees. Through a course in financial physics and personal contacts at the Institute for Socioeconomics at the University of Duisburg-Essen, he developed an interest in economic questions and made contact with the University of Bamberg.
Previously, he worked in theoretical solid-state physics with a focus on nanomagnetism.
The titles of his theses are:
- Bachelor's thesis: Current-induced creation of domain walls in synthetic antiferromagnets
- Master's thesis: In search of correlations between material inhomogeneities and magnetic material properties

Personal
Due to my personal background as the child of migrant workers with an upward educational trajectory, I feel called upon to counteract educational inequalities. I am happy to give lectures at schools upon request to encourage young people to take advantage of the educational opportunities available in Germany.
