Education
In our teaching modules, we offer unique courses that teach relevant fundamentals for the planning, development, operation, control and research of motivational and gamified information systems (e.g. Designing Gamified Systems), are dedicated to the design of immersive information systems based on new technologies such as mixed, virtual and augmented reality (e.g. Immersive Information Systems) and consider the economic and social impact of the metaverse phenomenon (e.g. Metaverse Project Seminar).
The courses increasingly focus on the didactic principle of learning through challenges and research-based learning in order to train students in skills such as critical thinking, independent problem solving, active learning, the use of creativity, teamwork and technology design, in addition to teaching specialist skills. In most of our courses, students learn on the basis of a design, development or research project (see symbols in the lectures).
