Quick Guide - Women in Leadership Positions(371.6 KB, 2 pages)
Leadership is masculine!?
Salwander & Schöl (2019) confirm the existence of this prejudice and therefore point out that “the image of a typical leader is still male-dominated.” However, there is also “reason for hope”: developments in recent years seem to be paving the way for gender-neutral expectations of managers.
This makes it all the more important to have facts at hand that help us counteract this stereotype.

Quick Guide - Violence Against Women(436.1 KB, 5 pages)
One in three women report having experienced physical and/or sexual violence at least once since the age of 16 (BMFSFJ 2020).
Women experience this violence in relationships, at work, at colleges and universities, on the street, and even online. Despite awareness of these figures, a culture of trivialization (keyword: “victim blaming”) seems to prevail in society.
Education is therefore important and necessary.

Quick Guide - Intersectionality(381.1 KB, 3 pages)
More than half of people who are perceived as “racialized” in Germany report experiencing discrimination on a regular basis (Tagesschau).
Discrimination does not affect everyone equally: those who have multiple characteristics, such as origin, religion, skin color, disability, sexual identity, socioeconomic status, or age, are at a significantly higher risk of being disadvantaged in multiple ways. This overlapping effect is called intersectionality.
Recognizing and taking intersectionality seriously means not treating inequality as an exception.
