New Publication: „Mind over Meaning and System – on Chresiology“

Chresiology questions the primacy of meaning and system in scholarly analysis and shifts attention to relational configurations of use.

Dina De Rentiis has published the article “Mind over Meaning and System – on Chresiology” in the international journal Culture, Theory and Critique.

The article develops Chresiology as a metatheoretical framework that reconsiders research grounded in fixed conceptual categories across disciplines. Rather than beginning from stable meanings, systems, or distinctions between signs and other entities, the framework proposes examining how entities function within configurations of use.

Positioned in dialogue with hermeneutics, structuralism, deconstruction, and discourse analysis, the article contributes to ongoing methodological debates on relationality.
