The Brettspielactions are games nights at the university from students for students
Looking for an evening away from smartphones and streaming? Then our Brettspielaction is exactly what you need! Whether you’re a seasoned tactical pro or just a casual player – with us, having fun always comes first.
What to expect:
- Huge Selection: From quick card games and hilarious party classics to epic strategy hits, we’ve got it all.
- Community: Meet new people and find your next regular gaming group.
- Easy Entry: Don’t know the rules? No problem! We explain the games on the spot so you can start playing right away.
- Snacks & Drinks: We’ve got the “soul food” you need for those heated matches.
Feel free to bring your own favorite games or let our recommendations surprise you. Grab your friends and drop by – we’re looking forward to exciting moves and plenty of great plays!
When and where?
- several times per month on changing days throughout the week

- in MG2/00.03 at the Markusplatz
- In addition to our “normal” Brettspielactions, we also offer so-called “Special-Actions” several times throughout the semester. Here, the whole evening is about one game or topic.
Who are we?
- First of all: Students who enjoy playing board or card games together and want to make that possible for others, too
- Officially, we are part of the student body of the humanities faculty, but everyone is welcome at our Brettspielactions, no matter from which faculty
- You want to become a part of that? Just talk to us at one of the Brettspielactions! We are always looking for helping hands!
