Self-Image

The student council sees itself as the (university) political representative of students and as a link between students, lecturers, and administration at the Faculty of Human Sciences with its associated institutes of Education, Psychology, and Research and Development of Subject-Specific Teaching (EE-feU).

As a non-partisan group, the student council is committed to the free democratic basic order and distances itself from anti-constitutional, anti-democratic, nationalist, and racist tendencies. It opposes all forms of extremism and discrimination based on origin, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, lifestyle, disability, or sexual orientation.

Principle of voluntariness

The personal commitment of elected and non-elected members is voluntary. Everyone contributes to the student council's work according to their individual abilities and interests. The student council thrives on the cooperation of students from different years and changes according to its current members.

Structural integration at the university

The student council is actively involved in the structures of the faculty and the university, critically monitors current developments at the university and faculty, and provides information on these matters. In this way, it works at a structural level to improve the study conditions for all degree programs offered by the faculty.
