Multi-dimensional analysis

MD analysis is a corpus-based methodological approach developed in order to identify the salient linguistic co-occurrence patterns that underlie registers. By means of this approach several registers can be compared with respect to different dimensions (cf. Biber and Gray, Chapter 21 and Biber and Conrad 2009: 223).
