The chairperson decides on routine cases within a short period. Other cases are discussed by the Examining Board, which usually convenes once per semester. The processing period for such requests might therefore be longer. Please also note that announcements by the Examining Board are shared via the  Sociology mailing list.

Examining Board summer break 2023:

The Examining Board for Sociology and the subject advisory service for Sociology are not availablebetween August 17, 2023, until September 18, 2023, inclusive. If you have to make an urgent request to the Examining Board, please do so by August 14, 2023 at the latest to ensure timely processing. Requests received on 26 July 2022 and after can only be processed as of mid September.
