1. Introduction
This webpage provides a summary of their studies on dative alternation. The main part documents a mini-project related to aspects of the scholars’ research and compares the results with those of chapter 16. Moreover, the advantages and disadvantages of the methodology are discussed and possibilities for future research are pointed out. Finally, the Further Reading section provides a brief overview of the articles suggested by Bresnan and Ford and assesses their usefulness.
