On Tuesday, 16 June, 2015, we welcomed Professor Joshua Wilner for his talk on "Wordsworth and Mandelbrot on the Coast of Britain". His talk was very unusual for us insofar as it dealt intensely with Mandelbrot's concept of fractual geometry - that is, mathematics. Mr Wilner combined Mandelbrot's ideas with William Wordsworth's poetry and managed to explain this to most of us previously unknown mathematical concept to everybody. Moreover, his wonderfully easy way of talking held everybody's attention for the full 90 minutes and entertained his audience very much.
