PUSh - Award of the University-wide Women's Representatives for the Outstanding Achievements of Female Students
More than 60 percent of students at the University of Bamberg are women. At higher qualification levels—from doctorate to postdoc to professorship—the proportion of women steadily decreases. With PUSh, the Award of the University-wide Women's Representatives for the Outstanding Achievements of Female Students (Preis der Universitätsfrauenbeauftragten für Studentinnen mit hervorragenden Leistungen), the University-wide Women's Representatives aim to highlight the high potential of women as researchers. First presented in 2007, the award intends to specifically support female early-career researchers and encourage them to continue their academic careers.
Please Note: Applications and theses are accepted in both English and German.
Female students of all disciplines at the University of Bamberg who have written an outstanding thesis (master’s thesis or qualification work) may apply. To apply, the thesis cannot be older than one year. That is to say, the thesis must have been submitted to the examination office by April 1st of the previous year. In addition, the paper must have been graded as "very good” ("sehr gut")
