Short Bio

Tanja Preböck studied social pedagogy and sociology and holds a Masters Degree in Sociology from the University of Bamberg. From 2017 through 2020, she worked as a student assistant at the State Institute for Family Research. Her main research interests are context specific learning, educational choices after the “Abitur”, and mixed methods. Since 2020, she is a research associate at the professorship of economics and business education at the University of Bamberg.

Research Interests

  • Education Research: in particular context specific learning as well as the choice towards vocational training with a general university entry qualification
  • Mixed Methods: in particular the comprehensibility of societal conditions on the basis of individual reports of experiences
