BA Introduction to International Finance

The main objective of the course is to consider major issues in the theory and practice of international financial markets. In particular, the course aims at providing a solid understanding of the following topics:

  • Currency markets and macroeconomic theory
  • Speculation and excessive volatility
  • Stabilization of exchange rates
  • Currency crises and speculative attacks

The course is taught in English.
