200 Euro one-time payment for students

With the one-time fixed energy expense allowance of €200, the Federal Government is providing financial relief for students at universities and in other advanced training programmes.

The federal and state governments have collaborated to develop a digital platform that can be used to apply for this aid.

The nationwide, standardised application for payment of the 200 euros will be available to all eligible applicants beginning in mid March, 2023.

As per the Student Energy Expense Allowance Act (Studierenden-Energiepreispauschalengesetz/EPPSG), all students who were enrolled at the University of Bamberg on the cut-off date of 1 December 2022 are eligible to apply. This also includes, in particular:

  • Students pursuing their studies part-time
  • Students enrolled in a doctoral degree programme
  • Students in a semester on leave.

You can retrieve your personal access data (access code and PIN) in the online services of the Registrar´s Office from 15.03.2023.
