Carsten Schwemmer is research associate at the Chair of Political Sociology and at the ORA project Pathways. He holds a MA in Sociology from the University of Bamberg and currently teaches seminars about methods of empirical research, data analysis, data scraping and quantitative text analysis. He is interested in Computational Social Science, Natural Language Processing, Social Media, Political Sociology und Ethnic Minority Studies.

From August 2018 to February 2019 he will substitute Andreas Jungherr as an assistant professor for Social Science Data Collection and Analysis at University of Constance, Center for Data and Methods.
