I’d like to go abroad. Which possibilities are there?

Currently there are two Erasmus places at the University of Florence each term. Further information concerning the application process can be found on the website of the Foreign Student Office. Furthermore, there’s the possibility to go abroad on your own initiative. Before you go abroad, we strongly recommend contacting the programme representative in order to resolve any questions about accreditation.

I’m a foreign student and my mother tongue isn’t German. What do I need to keep in mind for my application?

Foreign students whose mother tongue isn’t German and who don’t have a degree from a German university need to prove C2 level knowledge in their application. In case you can prove B2 or C1 level knowledge of the German language, please contact the Foreign Student Office.  In this case you can get an admission for the Master’s degree programme after passing the DSH examination.

The Student Service Office is responsible for the accreditation of certificates and degrees.

I’ll go to a foreign partner university soon. Which modules can get accredited?

You should talk about this upfront with the programme representative.

I’d like to get modules accredited that I took abroad. How are grades being converted?
