Citavi reference and knowledge management

Especially when it comes to extensive academic works, it is easy to lose track of what you have read. With the Citavi reference management programme, you can collect references, ideas, and citations and then simply copy them into your paper with a mouse click. The bibliography will be created automatically. Citavi only runs under Windows.

Besonderheiten im Wintersemester 2020/21

As it is currently advised to avoid in-person sessions, we offer short online turials with different thematic focuses instead of a two-hour in-persion session. You may find an overview over topics and dates in the virtual campus. Please register for the sessions there.

During the introduction the basic functions of Citavi will be explained and practiced with the aid of an example project. There is no prior knowledge required.

Please note!

Citavi only runs on Windows. For users of Mac and Linux, we recommend our tutorial "web based literature management"
