Description
The course is conducted jointly by the Department of Heritage Sciences at the University of Bamberg and the University of Applied Sciences Coburg. The Digital Heritage Technologies Master's programme leads to a second professional qualification and can be studied full-time or part-time. The lectures and seminars take place in Bamberg and Coburg (both can be reached with the semester ticket for the region), and are supplemented by an attractive offer of practical exercises at buildings or in museums, as well as excursions.

Accreditation
The M.Sc. Digital Technologies in Heritage Conservation was accredited in September 2019. This means for students that the programme with its structures and contents fulfils the required quality criteria of the Accreditation Council. A degree in an accredited study programme can, for example, be decisive for a career in higher state service.
