1999-2005:  Studies in art history, ethnography and sociology at the Universitiy of Bonn, Oxford University, Brookes University and the University of Marburg

2006:  Traineeship at Nagel Auction House in Stuttgart

2007-2011:  Curatorial position at the Michael Schultz Gallery in Berlin

2011-2012:  Head of the Martin Mertens Gallery in Berlin

2013-2015:  Master's programme in Heritage Conservation at Bamberg University

since 2015:  Research associate on the DFG-funded project “Images of the Middle Ages. Medieval sacred architecture in Germany and France as an example of image production in heritage conservation”, Chair of Heritage Sciences, Bamberg University

since 2020:  regional inspector, Lower Saxony State Conservation Office
