Monitoring Heritage Summer Schools

Monitoring Heritage is an interdisciplinary one-week course developed by Digital Geoarchaeology in collaboration with Digital Technologies in Heritage Conservation and jointly organized between 2017 and 2020, offering an introduction to the theoretical basics, but more importantly practical experience of non-invasive structural analysis and the digital recording of historic buildings with a variety of sensors. The annual course interchanges its location, either at the Institute of Archaeology, Heritage Conservation and Art History at the University of Bamberg, or at another location in collaboration with partenering institutions.
