Jelizaveta Ternovaja B.A.
Jelizaveta Ternovaja is a research assistant at the chair of the governance of innovative and complex technological systems. From 2014 to 2017 she studied political science at the University of Mannheim, where she received her bachelor degree.
Her studies focused on international relations - especially international peace and conflict research - and quantitative methods. Parallel to her bachelor's degree, she gained initial research experience at the GESIS Leibniz Institute for Social Sciences and the Institute for SME Research at the University of Mannheim.
Subsequently, she studied Political Science with a focus on Computational Social Science at the Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg. In addition to her master's studies, she works at the Fraunhofer IIS, where she is working on supply chain management.
Her research interests are in the following areas of political science:
- Quantitative and computer-based methods, including modelling and simulation
- Control of technological systems
- Management of complex infrastructure projects
In her free time she likes to go hiking and follows motor sports, especially Formula 1.
