Curriculum Vitae

Christian Babirat studied in the Bachelor programme European Economic Studies at the University of Bamberg, Germany. In the course of his studies he spent one year at the University of Groningen, Netherlands. He completed the B.Sc. with the Bachelor thesis topic „Inflation and Unemployment: A Comparative Empirical Analysis for France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom“. Thereafter, Christian Babirat decided to enroll in the Masters programme European Economic Studies. The title of his Master thesis is „Firm Size Measures and Business Dynamics: An Empirical Study of U.S. Companies“. From September 2011 to September 2012 Christian Babirat was employed as intern and student research assistant at the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS). Furthermore, he supported the Chair of Economics, especially Economic Policy of Prof. Westerhoff for approx. 1 ½ years as tutor and student assistant. Since September 2013 Christian Babirat works as research assistant at the Chair of Economics, especially International Economics.
