Admission and enrolment
Admission to the Master's programme in Digital Heritage Technologies requires a university degree or an equivalent domestic or foreign degree with a standard period of study of at least six semesters amounting to 180 ECTS credits and an overall grade of 2.5 or better in a related programme.
Related study programmes are study programmes in (interior) architecture, civil engineering and all study programmes in the fields of heritage conservation and cultural property protection, restoration, building conservation and refurbishment, computer science and applied computer science, digital humanities/digital art history, archaeology, geography, surveying, archives, cultural management or communication design. In case of doubt, your application and letter of motivation will be used to decide whether your previous studies are suitable.
You are welcome to enclose a letter of motivation, which you can upload under "Optional Messages". Your application is possible until the end of the enrolment period (October 4, 2019). However, we kindly ask you to submit your application by July 15 to enable us to process your application.
The courses take place at the University of Bamberg and at the University of Coburg. Students will also enrol at Coburg University of Applied Sciences as secondary students, so a semester ticket for free public transport to Coburg is included.
For foreign students: Please consult the website of the Akademisches Auslandsamt (International Office) and the information on required proofs of German language skills (for enrolment in the Master's programme Digital Heritage Technologies you need level B2). If you require a visa, your complete application should be received by July 15 at the latest.
