Monitoring Heritage 2018 - International Summer School

Monday, 30 July - Friday, 3 August 2018

The Summer School is an interdisciplinary course offering geophysical applications and digital technologies in heritage conservation at the Institute of Archaeology, Heritage Conservation and Art History at the University of Bamberg. It offers practical experience and an introduction to the theoretical basics of non-invasive structural analysis and the recording of historical buildings.

The Monitoring Heritage 2018 - International Summer School is aimed at students from German and international universities who wish to expand their understanding of digital surveying technologies and geo-archaeological methods, their evaluation and visualisation. The course is held in English.

We welcome applications of students from the following fields:

  • Archeology
  • Digital Humanities
  • Geography
  • Geomatics
  • Heritage Conservation
