Sophia Fauser studied Sociology (B.A. 2014 and M.A. 2017) at the University of Mannheim and the University of Ottawa, Canada (2015/16). During her studies she worked as a student assistant at the Collaborative Research Center 884 "Political Economy of Reforms" at the University of Mannheim, as well as at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in the research group "International Distribution and Redistribution". After her studies she worked as a research assistant in the project "Social participation of young migrants and their integration into the labour market in their later life course" (SOPAL) at the University of Duisburg-Essen. In May 2018 she began her doctoral studies at the University of Bamberg. She is part of the team of “The socio-economic consequences of temporary employment: A comparative panel data analysis” SECCOPA project, which is funded with the European Research Council (ERC) starting grant until 2023.
