LUNCHTIME TALKS

The Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) and the Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences (BAGSS) are happy to announce their new, monthly Lunchtime Talk series, to begin in October 2020.

All meetings will take place online until further notice. Details on how to participate in each meeting will be published in a timely manner. No registration required, unless stated otherwise.

The Talks are open to all members of LIfBi and BAGSS, with a special focus on Doctoral and Postdoctoral fellows.

It is now possible to apply for 2 Completion Scholarships for Doctoral Fellows, aiming to finish their doctoral thesis at the Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences within one year.

Scholarships are available from 01 April 2021 and for one year.

We invite highly qualified graduates from the fields of Sociology, Psychology, Educational Science, Political Science, Labour and Educational Economics, Demography and Statistics.

ECPR WINTER SCHOOL

METHODS AND TECHNIQUES

The Graduate School is privileged to host the ECPR Winter School in Methods and Techniques since 2015. With almost 50 courses and roughly 500 participants the event is a considerable success every year. One of the academic convenors, Benoît Rihoux states that the Winter School is designed to be all-encompassing. He shares some insights and his vision in an interview.

The Graduate School wants to provide a framework for research realization and furthermore aims to promote the works and the researchers themselves.
