Chair of Human Resource Management

Prof. Dr. Maike Andresen

Since 2009, Prof. Dr. Maike Andresen holds the Chair of Human Resource Management at the University of Bamberg. Since October 2015 she also holds the position of vice-president for research and young academics at the University of Bamberg.

Her main research interests are in the field of behavioral scientific personnel and management research. In particular, Prof. Dr. Andresen deals with strategic and international aspects of human resource management such as expatriation, corporate universities/personnel development and organizational development, diversity management and flexibilization of work.

Prof. Dr. Andresen also heads the “European Human Resource Management” Program, which is carried out in cooperation with other leading European business schools and universities (see www.ehrm.de).
