  • 1989 - 1991: Apprenticeship as a bank clerk at Vereins- und Westbank AG, Hamburg
  • 1991 - 1996: Studies in business administration at the University of Bamberg
  • 1996 - 2000: Research assistant to Prof. Dr. Peter Kupsch at the Chair for Business Administration (Auditing and Corporate Tax) at the University of Bamberg. Doctoral dissertation on financial accruals and deferrals
  • Since 2000: Staff member for assurance at PwC in Hamburg and Munich
  • 2001: Appointment as tax consultant
  • 2004: Appointment as public accountant
  • 2009: Promotion to partner

Main Activities

  • Account balancing consultation in regard to corporate transactions, conversion of financial reporting systems and the introduction of new standards in accordance with IFRS
  • Head of the PwC Enforcement Services Team for preparing and monitoring capital market oriented businesses during audits undertaken by the German Financial Reporting Enforcement Panel (FREP)
  • Annual and consolidated financial statements auditing according to HGB, IFRS, and US-GAAP
  • PwC Goal Relationship Partner for a DAX-30 company
