Since 2001, Christa Jansohn has edited the peer-reviewed journal Archiv für das Studium der Neueren Sprachen und Literaturen.
The Archiv für das Studium der Neueren Sprachen und Literaturen, founded in 1846 by Ludwig Herrig and Heinrich Viehoff, is the oldest journal on modern philology still in
publication.
It is an international journal for German, English, Romance and comparative studies, publishing articles, shorter essays, with a fairly extensive review session, reflecting the whole spectrum, latest research and the current debates within the individual disciplines covered.

The Archiv fuer das Studium der Neueren Sprachen und Literaturen, a peer reviewed, blind-refereed bi-annual journal indexed by MLA, encourages the submission of articles for the next issue.
Articles in Word/Rtf format following the MLA publication guidelines should be sent to christa.jansohn(at)uni-bamberg.de.
The articles should include a short abstract (max. 200 words) and a list of five key words. The abstract, keywords and title of the contribution should be written in English.
Please include in a different Word/Rtf file the following information: title of contribution, name of author, affiliation, postal and email address.
