Funding & Scholarships

We encourage all applicants and registered students to apply for a scholarship. However, be aware that most scholarship schemes are heavily oversubscribed. There are several foundations or sponsors which offer scholarships for German students.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers information and advice on scholarships for German students who want to study abroad and international students who want to study in Germany. The DAAD offers scholarships for studying abroad for the period of one year (approximately 775 Euro per month plus tuition fees up to 6100 Euro). The application deadline for the winter semester 2014/2015 is in November 2013. Please click here for further information.

Besides the DAAD the various political foundations offer scholarships for the period of two years. Besides others the following might be of special interest:
