Cooperation opportunities for practitioners

Within the practice-oriented building block of the teaching curriculum, courses (lectures, exercises, seminars, case studies) will be offered by senior managers who work in adequate positions that allow them to contribute their experiences within the field of information systems. The courses need to cover 2 hours/week (can be bundled to block lectures/seminars, which e.g. can be held on four weekend days).

Your engagement:

• Holding a 2 hours/week course within your special expertise
• Communicating your experiences within your special expertise to the students

Cooperation opportunities for internationally operating firms

We are looking for internationally operating firms that are able to provide 4-6 month internships in an international IT context which allow students to accomplish their curriculum. Firms willing to cooperate should give a written commitment about offering a certain number of internship places (at least 2) per year in an international context that allows students to collect experiences in IT departments, IT delivery units etc. abroad. We will ensure that the cooperating firms will get in touch with the best students (based on their average grades, foreign language certificates, etc.). Of course, it is finally up to the firm to grant the internship to particular student candidates.

Your engagement:

• Offering a certain number of internship places (at least 2) per year, ideally abroad

• Challenging the students with tasks within an  international IT management context

Your benefits:

• Direct contact with high potentials for optional job hiring
• Possibility to mentor bachelor theses for further engagements of the students in your firm
• Contact to university and transfer of research knowledge
