Institute for Longitudinal Educational Research (INBIL)

The Institute for Longitudinal Educational Research Bamberg (INBIL)was founded in August 2008 to perform externally funded longitudinal educational research. INBIL takes an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach designed to integrate research activities and teaching practices, and it encourages cooperation with external researchers and institutions.

The following independently financed and important projects in the field of educational research are currently situated at the INBIL:

  • NEPS (National Educational Panel Study)
  • BiKS (Educational processes, competence development and selection decisions in pre- and primary school age)
