Welcome Center for international guest scholars

Welcome to Bamberg!

The Welcome Center is a service facility for all internationally mobile scholars at the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg.

We offer extensive advice as well as practical support with regard to the preparation and the realization of your stay in Bamberg. We can provide you with information and targeted assistance in all matters related to the non subject-specific aspects of your visit.

The Welcome Center is meant to serve as an interface between university departments and various university and non-university institutions. It offers international guests of the university personalized support, beginning even before their actual arrival in Bamberg.

We are also happy to support and advise researchers returning to Germany after an extended stay abroad.
