The University of Bamberg archives are located on the third floor of the Rotenhan-Palais in the Kapuzinerstraße 25. As no designated visitor parking is available, using public transport is advisable.

From the Bamberg train station, the university can be reached via the bus lines named below. All lines lead first to the central bus station (ZOB).

From the Bamberg train station, you can reach the central bus station (ZOB) via lines 901, 902, 907 or 911. From there you can continue to the “Am Kranen” bus stop (see the city map) with lines 904, 906, 915 or 916, or you can continue on foot; the Rotenhan-Palais in the Kapuzinerstraße 25 is only about a two-minute walk from the bus stop.
